Q. Who can access EHSL? Who can check out books and other materials?

Anyone can use the Health Sciences Library. There are several computers on the main floor in which you can obtain a log in from the front desk. When using this computers, you can access the library’s electronic resources.

Our licenses limit off campus use of electronic resources to current student, faculty and staff. Some electronic resources, such as PubMed, are freely available for anyone to use. 

Any current student, faculty, staff member at Utah Health (including the hospital) can check out circulating materials from the Health Sciences Library using their valid University of Utah badge, ID or other picture ID.
